As a single parent who now has an adult daughter now in college, and is approaching, I now want to see if nature has anything else planned for me. I firmly believe that more travel is something that nature has planned for me, and I am looking forward to that. My scuba diving and river rafting days may be behind me, but I'm still game for hikes and bike rides. And if hiking isn't an option, nice walks are still a welcome means of recreation. And of course, I like to get out on the dance floor. I enjoy 50's doo wop and rock & roll, 60's-70's pop and soul, and 80's- 90's pop and r & b. For reading I enjoy both historical fiction and non-fiction, adventure, and spy and espionage thrillers. I enjoy sports and like to watch good games whenever possible.
About you
Someone who is flexible, is easy going, detests drama, and is open to new and different experiences. Someone outgoing, who is not demanding, with not too many hang-ups (hey-I'm no fool. We all have a hang up or two). Someone with not a of baggage. Contemporary women of my age more than likely have had a marriage or two under their belts and might have had some bad experiences. Or they may be widow's, who though they may think so, really have not been able to move on. I am looking for that "the past is in the past, and I'm focused on the future" type of person. Oh, and for me, smoking is a deal breaker. I've tried to work around that in the past, but when your partner is always leaving you to go and smoke, that gets a little old, so I know that I'm not comfortable with someone that prefers smoking over me.
