Been divorced for over 5 years and looking to see my next stage in life.
I am a professor at a local college and I have my doctorate. So most of my students call me Doctor and some of my friends call me doc
I live with my 2 cats. One pictured and the other camera shy.
I work in a classroom all day and grade papers and study a lot at night so it caused me to gain some weight
But I am funny and smart and love to laugh and make others laugh as well
I don't like discussing American politics or too deeply with religion. I am a straight white male Christian conservative.

In the old days, the beginning of time, there were hunters and gatherers.
The gatherers stayed close to home, and would settle for whatever nature provided them. Food and water, but close to home, safe and easy.
Hunters would go out and adventure, and find what they wanted, and do what needed to be done to get it.
I don't want a gatherer. I want a woman that knows exactly what she wants, and does what she has to in order to get it.
I want a hunter.

Don't say you are serious and then play games.
Don't say you are interested and then ghost.
Don't say you don't care about money and then ask for it.

Ladies; if you really want an American man, you have to be different than American women. Stop waiting for him to make the first move. Stop waiting for him to ask you questions. Stop waiting for him to initiate the conversation. American men get that in the US all day.
Ask him questions, be curious about him, keep him talking, keep him telling you stuff. Learn who he is, and he won't ghost you if he is real and serious.
Answer questions he has in detail. Not one or two word answers.
Keep the conversation fresh. Don't ask the same questions over and over.
Then start telling him about you, without being asked.
