About me
I'm an Australian, 74, but still active, curious and very much interested in what comes next. I've had a long and interesting working life and have travelled extensively throughout North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and the Pacific.
Asia has been a particularly important part of my life. I've travelled extensively through China, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines.
Travel is still a big part of my life. I enjoy discovering new places, good food, history, museums and galleries, walking, conversation and occasionally doing something a little adventurous.
I'm now thinking about the next chapter and the adventures still ahead. Japan is high on my list, along with more travel around Australia and Asia. It would be wonderful to meet the right woman to share some of those experiences with. Japan is one of my next planned adventures, so I'd particularly enjoy meeting a Japanese woman, or someone from elsewhere who would be excited to explore Japan with me. I'd like to meet an attractive, feminine, warm and intelligent woman who is active, healthy and enjoys making the most of life.
I'm financially independent and appreciate the same in a partner. I'm not looking for someone to fund my lifestyle, nor am I looking to fund someone else's. Ideally, we would both stand on our own feet and enjoy life and travel together.
Of course, I'm not expecting someone to pack a suitcase and disappear overseas with a stranger! First comes getting to know each other, conversation, laughter and discovering whether we genuinely enjoy each other's company.
