I'm here to
I'm here to meet girls 24 to 35 years old for serious relationship.
About me
Entrepreneur, 36, born in Europe, living in a quiet part of Phnom Penh with my four animals. I run a large online company with a big team that I built myself. My days are normal, but when you lead that many people, there are moments when the phone rings in the evening or I need to sit down at the computer for half an hour. That’s the price of running your own business, and it comes with responsibilities I don’t walk away from.
What it also means: we go out for dinner most evenings, and the weekends are ours. I like to spend them together and out of the house, exploring, driving somewhere, trying a new place; not a club or a bar. I travel three or four times a year, sometimes within the country, sometimes abroad, and not just for a few days; I’d rather go for weeks than for a weekend. On those trips I still work, less than at home, but the company doesn’t stop because I’m away, and I need a partner who understands that rather than resents it.
I’ve built several companies, and the drive has always been the process, never the money. I care little for show: no expensive clothes, no sports car at the door. I’d rather spend on good evenings out, trips and experiences with a partner than on shoes or a badge on a bonnet. The one thing I do spend on is the house: I work from home and spend a lot of time there, so it has to be a good place to live. I have my own library at home, and I’m always learning something.
I’ve lived in five countries and I move every few years. That’s not a phase, it’s how I live, and I decide carefully where. I’ve already seen a good part of the world and I want to see the rest of it with someone. I read a lot, swim in the mornings, and prefer a calm evening over a night out. I value a private life; I’d rather have the evening than the post about it. I take care of the people close to me.
About you
You’re independent and make your own life wherever we are: your gym, your church, your friends, your routine. You don’t sit at home waiting for me, and you understand that an evening phone call from work is not a problem but part of the deal. You’re honest, you read, you can hold a real conversation, and you don’t need a crowd or an audience online.
Your English doesn’t have to be perfect, mine isn’t either, but we need to be able to talk without a translation app in between. If every conversation goes through a phone, we’re starting one–nil down, and that’s not a start I want.
Nationality doesn’t matter to me. What matters is that you’re open to moving countries with me when the time comes, and that you’re not planning to move me to your home country or your home village. Living abroad is not for everyone, and I don’t underestimate that; be honest with yourself about it before you answer. I live in Cambodia now. I can bring someone here, and I’m just as open to someone local, as long as you’re willing to live elsewhere in the future. We’d live together, properly, not part-time. You won’t be working in my company, I keep that separate, but if you have ambitions of your own, I’ll back you in building something that’s yours.
To be clear up front, so nobody wastes time: Children: I’m open to it, within limits. If you have a child who lives with your family back home, that can work for me, as long as we’re clear from the start about how it’s arranged: you visit when you want, the child comes to stay with us in the holidays, and we support them together; money isn’t the issue. What doesn’t work is a child moving countries with us every few years. I wouldn’t be the father, every move would need the real father’s permission, and a child deserves to grow up with roots, not in my suitcase. If you’re looking for someone to raise your child with you day to day, I’m not the right man, and I’d rather say that now.
And no women who work or have worked in nightlife or the bar scene. I don’t look down on anyone, but it’s not a match for me. Children are an open question, not a no; if it happens, we raise them ourselves.
I’m selective, and I’d rather get ten real messages than a hundred “hi”. If you’ve read this far and it sounds like you, tell me something about yourself that isn’t in your photos.
