My future aspirations: Finishing my doctorate degree (in biomolecular engineering), starting a family, road trips, nature, a few easier triathlons to keep fit.
My life in a nutshell: traveled for work as a software consultant, left the corporate world, traveled Europe and Asia for 6 years and started 2 companies along the way, returned to do a PhD which I'm just finishing up now (about a year to go, ask me to send you some papers I've published if your want to read about what I do).
Along the way I missed a couple opportunities to get married by a hair. I'd like to get it right this time. I live in the San Francisco, California area (Santa Cruz specifically). Dating here feels a bit like pulling teeth so I'm expanding my horizons. I've spent enough time in Asia that the culture feels familiar, like a second home. The whole distance issue might take some navigating but the world is smaller today than it's ever been so I think it's doable.
