About me

Hello! I’m an American with Asian ancestry. Over the past few years I’ve traveled in Asia several times. I’ve spent about a month in the Philippines twice, and I’ve also visited Taiwan and Tokyo. These experiences made me appreciate Asian cultures, languages, and traditions even more. I hope to travel throughout Asia in the coming years, and I’m considering retiring somewhere in the region in the future.

One of my personal goals is to learn Asian languages and better understand the cultures. If you write to me, please feel free to write in your native language. Even if I cannot understand everything yet, I enjoy learning and will use translation tools while I study. It would be wonderful if our conversations could help me gradually learn how to read, write, and speak your language.
