About me

i would describe myself as a traveler but haven't gotten to travel as much as i like lately (my son is 17 yrs old and once he is older i will be able to get around more, right now its once a year out of the states, where i would like 2-3 times a year). Once my son graduates i will be traveling 2 or 3 times a year.. i really would like a partner that likes that.

Open to new experiences, will try almost any food, and have always been open to new experiences. i would rather go somewhere more quiet than a terribly crowded area. Beach before Mountain. i think i am quiet, but i do have a good sense of humor when someone gets me to open up. I like to watch people but dont like super crowded noisy places.. I lead a quiet humble life. Save the money for trips or kid rather than flashy stuff for me.

Divorced almost 5 years now, and now i am open to having more in my life. I do know i am looking for a long term relationship.. but im realistic enough to know it wont be easy.

I do understand the change from chatting to a visit is a big jump.. i really would like to be into a solid relationship before a trip overseas (when the timing allows) as it is very far and i only have so much vacation per year.

i am looking for that person i want to talk to every day.. the one that will convince me to get on that airplane and do anything to have her next to me.

i am looking for someone that is intelligent, beautiful, caring, but has a mischievous streak like i do .
i do appreciate a woman that bites.. as i bite sometime . (but must know when to bite and when it would be more appropriate to bat her eyelids to convince me to do something)

the ability to hold a conversation is critical, but at the same time able to have quiet time cuddled on a couch where there are not a need for words.

Just to be clear the reason I put undecided on want to have kids. I am 54 now. if I have a new child that child would be 20 whenever I am close to 75. That does not leave a lot of time for travel and other things. I am completely okay with dating and or marrying a woman that has kids already. And i am okay with dating a woman that does not want kids. But if you want to have new kids or build a family a kids i may need convincing.

I also understand that true love would change or could change all of that and that if the woman that I love really wanted a child I would probably give it to her.
