So grateful to have traveled all over the world: 55 countries across 6 continents. Lived and worked in 15 countries. There's a lot of goodness in this world, and it tends to find those who are open to it. Everyone deserves respect and human dignity.
Life is organic. We create it symbiotically as we explore our talents in relation to the circumstances they helped to create for us.
I'm energetic but chill AF. Calm and cool under pressure. I read a room well and solve problems without drama.
Yes, to disciplined and organized, but sometimes I can be the "absent-minded professor" with my head in the clouds. Through everything, though, I don't take myself too seriously.
I want to build something. It doesn't happen by accident.
Like any long-term partnership, it takes commitment, compromise, patience, grace, and a healthy dose of humor.
I certainly don't have it all figured out—and I doubt I ever will—but the more I've experienced, the more I realize that the same principles make almost every meaningful relationship work:
▶ Tell the people you care about that you care about them. More often than feels necessary. Encouragement compounds.
▶ Love fully. Hold back less. Invest deeply in the people who've invested in you.
▶ Operate from abundance, not scarcity. Celebrate other people's wins. Share credit generously. There is more than enough success to go around.
▶ Learn how to disagree well. Have the hard conversations. Say the uncomfortable thing. Even raise your voice if you must. Just don't weaponize silence or collect resentments. Grudges are expensive.
▶ Protect the relationship more fiercely than you protect being right. I've watched extraordinary relationships fall apart because partners couldn't let go of winning individual arguments. Great relationships are built by people who understand that the relationship is the asset. Everything else flows from there.
▶ Laugh. A lot. Relationships are serious enough. But it doesn't always have to be.
▶ Dream together—but execute together too. Vision without action is just wishful thinking. Create plans for the life you want and then take small steps toward it.
▶ Cheer louder than you criticize. Everyone remembers who believed in them when things got hard.
▶ Assume positive intent. Most conflict isn't caused by malice. It's caused by stress, fatigue, fear, or miscommunication.
▶ Don't keep score. The healthiest partnerships aren't 50/50. They're 100/100. Some days one person carries more. Eventually the balance evens out.
Whether you're building a family, a friendship, or a company, the truth is remarkably similar.
The quality of your life is determined less by the brilliance of your ideas than by the quality of the relationships you build around them.
I'm looking someone willing to build this life alongside me.
I'm all too happy to pour us each a glass of wine and tell funny stories as we slow-dance through the kitchen, cooking meals together.
