I’m a little shy at first — it actually took me four weeks to write this — so patience is appreciated.
On weekends I enjoy camping, hiking, target shooting, gardening, and getting out in the sunshine. I also enjoy good TV (reality TV doesn’t count).
I have a creative side — I play guitar, write music, dabble in poetry, and enjoy knife making. I also have a dry, sometimes dark sense of humour.
I consider myself masculine, but that masculinity was shaped by strong women — my grandmother taught me to ride motorbikes, my mother taught me to shoot, and my aunt taught me to ride horses and muster cattle.
I try to stay humble. I’ve achieved a lot, but there are always people who’ve done more, often against greater adversity.
I love learning about other cultures — especially food, fashion, and architecture. I’m terrible at languages though… painfully slow (yet I somehow always remember the swear words).
