About me

I'm a little shy when meeting people so please be patient with me. It's taken me 4 weeks just to write this introduction haha.

I work as a Security Risk Manager in the Fintech / Tech sector.

On the weekends I enjoy getting outside for some camping, hiking, target shooting, gardening and just generally enjoying the sunshine. I like watching anything that is good (Reality TV is not good tv lol).

I have a creative side. I play guitar and write music. I dabble in poetry. I also enjoy knife making.

I have a laconic sense of humour that some people find dark. I have 3 daughters that live with their mother. I love them and miss them terribly but I will see them again one day.

I do consider myself masculine but that masculinity was taught to me by the women in my life. My grandmother taught me how to ride a motorbike. My mother taght me to shoot and my aunt taught me to ride horses and muster cattle.

I try to be humble in my life. I struggle to list my accomplishments as it feels like bragging. I have done great things in my life and I have achieved much. But there are greater people than me on this planet. People who have achieved more with greater adversity.

I love learning about other cultures. Their food, fashion, architecture in particular. But I suck (and I mean SUCK) at learning other languages. I try but it is painfully slow (I always remember the swear words though... go figure.)

About you

Someone kind, humble, empathetic. A strong character. I need a women as strong, brave independent and intelligent as the women I grew up with. Someone who understands that a partnership isn't about who is in charge but how to work together to achieve a happy life.

I want someone who supports me in my achievements as well as advises me in my times of struggle. As I would do for them.

A wicked sense of humour would be great.
