I'm Sven, 55, from Fürth in Bavaria – a city with old streets and surprisingly decent table tennis.
I wake up early, move my body, and then create something – a melody on the guitar, or just a good conversation. I believe the small things matter: a well-cooked meal, a song that stays with you, a story told slowly.
I have a deep fascination with Chinese culture – the history, the language, the music, the way of thinking. It's not a phase. It's been part of my life for years and has genuinely changed how I see the world.
I won't pretend to be perfect. I've made mistakes in the past – in communication, in trust, in knowing when to speak and when to listen. But I reflect on those things. I've learned from them. And I believe that a man who can look at himself honestly is more trustworthy than one who pretends he never failed.
I'm at a chapter in my life where things are rebuilding – slowly, but with purpose and direction.
Some connections cross oceans and time zones – and still manage to feel like home. I haven't forgotten what that feels like. I don't think I ever will.
