About me
I'm an American that majored in Languages and International Studies. Ultimately, I'd love to get involved in international business or international relations. Prior to college, I completed a culinary program to learn French and Asian-Fusion. I was just interested in experiencing other cultures through cooking though. I don’t think you’ll be seeing me in any of Gordon Ramsay’s kitchens anytime soon, lol.
Currently, I'm teaching in China, close to Shanghai. I love being a member of the community and exploring the rest of Asia when I have chances to. I also love that being a teacher gives me an incredible opportunity to make a positive impact on so many people. Sincerely though, I think I learn from my students just as much as they learn from me.
I enjoy spending time at home just as much as I like going out. I like a lot of sports and athletics. Surfing is like using chopsticks for me. I’m not particularly good at it, but I like to anyway, lol. I mostly listen to rock music and I love to attend concerts. American films are great, but I'm not one to let subtitles keep me from enjoying foreign films as well. Any suggestions?
My favorite thing to do is just be around family though. They inspire me. The best part of my life is having a niece and nephew. They always make me smile and I couldn't be more grateful for them.
