I am looking to live / retire outside the US but return to visit my children at least once per year so my girlfriend/wife should be able to travel with me to the US.

I have been divorced twice and have children from the second marriage, they live with their mother in a different state, and I am fully divorced 5 years. Obviously my age is a concern, and I have some health issues. For example, I have a kidney transplant that has been successful and healthy for 23 years and should last many, many more. I am a military veteran so all my health bills are taken care of (as well as my future wife and hers / our children). But I am otherwise reasonably healthy for my age. I am a large "fluffy" Man and struggle with weight but I am also very serious about management through diet, regular exercise, good mental health, etc. And having a partner who is health conscious would be a great addition to my life.
I have a good job and a profitable online side business. I believe that it's the Husband's duty to provide for the family, and ensure their future after He is gone. But it is quite expensive to live well in the US and to provide for things like private school / college for the children, family trips, assistance to our parents as they age, buying a home, etc. So it would be a blessing if my future wife had a career or business skills.
