I grew up in a traditional family in a small province in Mindanao. Though an only child growing up, my upbringing was strict so I have developed a sense of responsibility and accountability to whatever I do. I experienced numerous scoldings when I was a kid but I was in a loving family, it was just their way of discipline. This is the reason why I value family so much. Now, I have little sisters and as the eldest, I ventured into living alone and working in a big city to aid my parents in supporting them. Life is hard but without a good support system, it'll be much harder.
