I'm planning to retire parttime in the Philippines. I haven't found a place yet but I like several areas. I'm interested in meeting a nice lady. Im a nice guy, don't drink much, don't smoke and still in good shape, live an active life, have a great job, and it want to travel lots.
Although for the next 3 years I will only be able to live in the Philippines for 3 months a year. I will be there for 6 to 8 months after 3-4 years. The rest of the year I'll be in the Canada \ USA.
Ive been to the Philippines few times and understand the culture 5% or lease so bear with me. Unfortunately I can't speak many words so who ever I meet has to speak English well. I not fixed on one location. I have been to most of the major cities in the Philippine but I still have not checked out Mindanao Is. I do like places with nice beaches. Cleaner air, lower noise, good internet, ... So if you have a suggestion, send it to me.
My belief is, everyone (most people) have the ability to be nice or not. It depends on how you treat them in a relationship. In most cases you get what you give and sometime you get more. It's difficult to qualify this because everyone has different needs desires and dreams. The secret is to understand the other person's needs, desires and dreams and support them the best you can do. Sometimes You will get back more than you give.
