I’m a genuine person who is looking for somebody to share life with.
I strive to be as present as possible whilst keeping an eye on the future, believe that laughter is the best medicine, and I often find myself making light of situations (sometimes difficult ones). I find this is one of the keys to a calm, peaceful, and actually enjoyable life.
I grew up and lived most of my life in the UK but have lived and worked in several continents, experienced different cultures. I have some formal qualifications, but I have found that life itself offers a lot of learning and I am dedicated to that.
I am goal oriented, but I do not fuss if most of them are not achieved, not everything succeeds, as long as I gave it my best. My mantra is "Failure is not to try"
I would say I live a balanced lifestyle, down to earth, but perhaps a little adventurous too, I think it is nice to have variety which adventure injects, and life is always changing which can cause chaos, but that routines can also bring joy and comfort, as well as resilience, when things are not so good. Enough to keep body and soul together.
I get a lot from my hobbies which are mostly sports. They bring real joy and require genuine thought. I love racquet sports, riding, sailing, each a challenge in completely different ways but none cost the earth to participate in either. Would I enjoy motor racing or polo more? I am not sure I would!
