About me
I’m kind first and foremost. Also patient, understanding, compassionate, empathetic, honest, accepting people are flawed, judgemental in the sense of understanding a situation but not in the sense of labelling things good and bad. I subscribe to the virtues of patience, generosity, ethics, concentration and perseverance, which I believe lead to wisdom. Too old for games. Have travelled and am highly educated. Deep thinker which can make me seem remote. Interested in people and the world. I take people as they come, accept them for who they are and don’t expect them to change. I’ve always been loyal, faithful and supportive of partners, it hasn’t always been returned. I must somehow be unbearable as my partners have always eventually abandoned me. I used to be humorous, not so much at present. Maybe it will return later. I fear neither God or man. I believe this life is all we have, the only afterlife is that we live on in our offspring. I accept other people have different beliefs and say no one is right or wrong in their beliefs. I Have a grown daughter and a new granddaughter, and don’t want more children. I am alone, which is not my preference, and looking for enjoyable chat interactions, hopefully leading to friendship and if I’m truly lucky companionship into the last stage of this life. I see no wedding in my future, but do hope to find a partner. The main photo is from my birthday in January 2026. The beard was short lived, I grew it after my partner left. I’m back to clean shaven now.
