If you persistently cling to the idea of how things should be, you will remain trapped in pain. True wisdom lies in allowing the wind to blow, allowing flowers to wither, and allowing people to come and go. Once you learn to accept everything as it happens, you will no longer be bound by pain, but instead live freely and with ease.
