Binangkal Recipe
Ingredients:
All-purpose flour: 500g
Baking powder: 10g
Salt: 5g
Sugar: 100g
Butter, softened: 50g
Milk: 120ml
Vanilla extract: 5ml
Sesame seeds: 100g
Vegetable oil for frying
Directions:
Dry Ingredients:
In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
Wet Ingredients:
In another bowl, whisk together milk, softened butter, and vanilla extract.
Make Dough:
Combine the wet and dry ingredients to form a soft dough.
Shape and Coat:
Pinch off small pieces of dough and roll into balls.
Roll each ball in sesame seeds until fully coated.
Fry:
Heat oil in a deep fryer or deep skillet to 175°C (350°F).
Fry the dough balls in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
Drain and Serve:
Use a slotted spoon to remove binangkal from oil and drain on paper towels.
Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
