Somehow I ended up blond haired, blue-eyed, and half-Filipino — which still confuses people more than it probably should.
I spent much of my younger life in the Philippines, and half of my heart and soul never left. Even if I look American, a big part of how I think, eat, laugh, and move through the world comes from Asian family, friends, and roots.
I’ve never been married. Life took me in other directions first — learning, working, growing up properly. These days I try to stay active, healthy, balanced, and not take myself too seriously.
