For the last 13 years I’ve been in the trades — 2 years building grain bins, 3 years doing carpentry, and 8 years roofing. I got so good at roofing that I was right on the edge of starting my own company… but life threw me a curveball and I guess I cracked under the pressure.
No drama, just a man who learned a hard lesson and kept moving forward. After that I tried working in a sawmill, but I quickly realized it was — way too boring! Now I have a steady delivery job that keeps me on the road, lets me enjoy the fresh air, and gives me a good work-life balance. I like knowing my day has purpose and I come home every night with a clear mind. I was very Athletic in the trades, Ive gained weight since. In a sense im looking for some motivation and encouragement to get back in shape.
