I’m just going to make a generalised statement which has nothing to do with you personally but, I do have an unfavourable opinion of filters being used on photos because they aren’t a true reflection of someone and are actually a misrepresentation instead. I know that women use them because it makes them feel better about themselves but it is fake and it is dishonest. The thing is that the person that filters are most dishonest to is the person using the filter because they aren’t being honest with themselves. I understand that you may like yourself better with a filter but you are who you, are so love and accept yourself as you are, otherwise you are just lying to yourself. It also leads to a problem that if you do meet someone and look nothing like the profile pictures and then the man thinks ‘well what else is fake or what else isn’t real or what else is untrue’. It just sets everything up for a bad ending. That’s why I hate the use of filters but that is just my opinion and feelings on filters.
