17DEC24 -- To all the wonderful ladies I have corresponded with here, I wish you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS, and I pray you each find what you're looking for in the new year. During this past year, my mom passed away, and I met an old friend, a woman I've known for 25 years. It was a great reunion, and although she has said for years that she just wants to stay single, she changed her mind, so we are getting married.
God bless all here. Stay close to the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.
10SEP22 -- I have been sending text messages to a few women here. When we only know each other online, it is not yet real. It is not real until we actually meet each other. Now I am hoping to make a trip back to Asia in the spring -- but who knows. Just a hope at the moment. Anyways, there are some really wonderful women on this site. Keep looking for a GOOD guy who loves the Lord and loves you. I will send messages to a few women here, and we will see what happens.
About me: Been overseas a long time. Used to teach English in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, and then I taught Math and English, Test-Prep, for college entrance exams, in Jakarta, Indonesia. Came back home almost 5 years ago to help out my mum, who is now 93 and a little shaky. So, I'm back in the States now, in Michigan, but still hoping to one day marry. That's a dream I STILL have. Although I am 66 years old, an "old guy," I was working in a warehouse store near my mom's place here, lifting, pushing, and pulling stock, loading pallets, sometimes pretty heavy stuff, so I'm still in good shape. Now though, mom has gone downhill some, so she needs me here all the time now. I am not rich, and probably never will be. But I'll be able to take care of the woman I'm looking for. I probably cannot handle kids, but maybe someday could adopt. Anyways, the main photo up above with the blue-jean jacket is from June of 2020, and the one below it, with the tie, is from the year before. ... Yeah, I know -- wrinkled old face.

About you
For me, a "good woman" means someone who is IN the Lord, easy to talk to, more interested in friendship than in an instant relationship. but also who is attracted to me, and whom I find attractive. I cannot help it -- I especially like a woman with long, thick, natural hair, not permed or dyed. (Look up 1Cor.11v15, where it says a woman's long hair is her GLORY, or Song of Songs 7 where it says the king, Solomon, was "captivated" by his lady's long tresses.) And I have to admit, I like the more traditional Asian women. They still hold to their values. Mostly I want a Christian woman who loves the Lord and who likes to talk about Jesus. I'm not any kind of "super" Christian -- far from it. But without the Lord, we have nothing.
I'm looking for somebody who is really single -- a "never-yet-married" type lady. I've never married yet either. But I am open to someone who has lost her husband, a widow.
Virtually meeting on a computer screen does not go very far. You do not really even BEGIN to know each other until after meeting each other IN PERSON. And even THEN, that's only the start. Then you can both think about going forward or not.
Lots of the women here have kids, and i would love to be a dad. However, as I said above, I am not a rich man. Probably the most I could do is support a wife right now. A woman with kids needs a well-established man. I was overseas for years and gave most of my savings away to Christian causes. So even though I am 66, I am not "well-established." Still, like I said, I CAN still afford a wife.
I figure this site is just for INTRODUCING people. I assume most folks on this site talk to lots of other users all the time. I do too. I will meet different women here, and chat, but then, eventually, go back to SE Asia and finally MEET somebody in PERSON, and THEN, if we have good chemistry when we meet -- then maybe things can go fast, cause we're not kids anymore and we know what we want. But that is when it actually starts. Chatting online here is just chatting -- in the hope that it might lead to something real later on.
But just because somebody talks to more than one woman or more than one guy, that does not make them a "scammer" or a bad person. We are all, of course, just looking for that ONE special person -- and you probably gotta talk to lots of folks first to find her.
