About me
I’ve had some of the best conversations of my life chatting late at night or on the beach. I’ve noticed cafes in Taiwan and the Philippines are inviting. They give you a sense you can sit there for hours. People here in the US move along much more quickly and the cafes feel rushed.
I don’t like to sell myself; I am not good at it. I know you women don’t like workaholics, but it’s hard to be successful without working a lot.
I have two sons and I would like to think I am a great father. I’ve got the kids during the week and sometimes even the weekend.
I don’t want to lie: I am still smoking but am trying to quit. I actually quit for a year before I was married, since my sister was pregnant and I wanted to make sure our home was smoke-free when she came home with my niece. But then my first child was still-born and I started again. (This is his sister writing. My brother wouldn’t have said that on his own.) I’m too intense and should take things easier.
Please don’t be too loud, too much in your face. I keep things pretty close to my chest. I hate taking pics. Please don’t be one of those women who spend too much time on the phone: over meals, the whole time you’re talking to them.
I am a computer geek. I dropped out of high school, was adrift for a few years, went to community college but couldn’t finish. Then I learned to program websites on my own and have had the same e-commerce business since 2003. Makes a comfortable living.
Even though I have been in the US most of my life, I do still have some traditional Chinese values, but I am definitely far from being close minded I brought my sons back to Taiwan and lived there for four years; have been back the last three.
About you
I know I look Japanese but I am actually Taiwanese. I can see some of you think Taiwanese is actually Chinese. That's like saying American are British. Please study more about the world and be informed. Last note, Taiwanese hate China so.....google it please.
